It looks like a couple holding hands. The right side also is the same character for no/not – “bu” – 不 so it’s the tree radical next to “bu”

The two radicals are thirsty, and both could use a “cup” of some sort of drink.

Kinda weird but it looks like a couple. I thought of Jay-Z and Beyonce. The character sounds like BEI similar to BEYonce.

It looks like two trees standing next to each other which reminds me of the radical “wood”.

Left radical means wood and the right side is the bu character. Nowadays cups are not made out of wood so it seems like the character is “not wood” which describes modern cups.

Looks like the expression: GLASS half-full or GLASS half-empty… because the first character has a horizontal stroke in the middle, while the second has it on top. Hence first looks like a GLASS half-empty next to a full glass.
