The heart radical indicates it is a feeling and the second component, is the “white” character, because many of us fear seeing the white light too soon.

It has the heart radical and the white character on the right. So, someone is afraid of a white ghost.

For the first component, when you get scared, your “heart” is startled, and then become pale or “white” for the second component.

the right hand side of this character (although it is not identical), reminds me of the character, “自,“ which is a part of the word “自己,“ meaning “alone.” and sometimes people have fears or they are AFRAID of being alone.

Radicle on the left means the heart and radicle on the right means white. So, I remember this character as my heart pounded quickly and my face turned pale and white because I’m AFRAID.

When the radical for ‘heart’ is combined with the character on the right side(looks like 0) in Chinese, it indicated the character which means ‘to fear’ or ‘to be afraid of.

The left radical that signifies heart is next to the “Bái” character, which means “white” or “blank” by itself; since when you’re afraid your HEART goes BLANK, this character means “afraid.”

The radical on the left means “heart,” and on the right means “white.” The face turns white when somebody is extremely afraid.

the heart radical is beside the character meaning “white” because when someone is AFRAID OF SOMETHING, their heart beats fast and their face turns pale or white.

The radical of on the left is our heart and then we have on the left the character for white. Whenever you’re scared you can think of your blood not rushing making your heart (and face) turn pale.

The heart radical is on the left and the character meaning ‘white’ is on the right. The character on the left looks like a spear, and the right character, a guard. The guard’s face turns pale white though they have a spear because they wear their heart on their sleeve.

The heart radical on the left plus the character for “pure/white” on the right helps me understand that something is happening to your heart, so you (or your face) turn white out of fear.
