the part under the radical looks like a hall and the top part is the end of the hall (厅)

The part that looks like a ‘T’ is the hallway, and the outer lines form the glass frames, forming a basic LOBBY.

This simple character looks like an awning (simple roof-line and a swipe down on the left), with an uppercase J inside. It reminds me of a person standing inside a lobby or room, hence its meaning.

This has the top and left lines that are often used for enclosures such as kitchen, and bathroom (ce suo bathroom) with a little singular man in it because I imagine that he is waiting for someone in the hall
