The radical on the right is the person radical. On the left is the character 两 meaning two. I combine the two parts to get two people.

The radical on the left is person, and the right side is the number two. Also in the inside of two, it looks like two people.

how i remember this character: the right hand part of the character is the chinese character 两 which means two (2), and the left hand side is the person radical, thus together it is two people.

Left part of the radical means person. The right part of the character looks like two people walking together, the meaning is two people.

it is the person radical combined with the character for two which logically means two people

I remember this character as being used for “two people” because it contains the word 两 which means two, as well as has the radical for person on the left.

This character is very straight forward, there’s a person radical on the left and the word Liang which means two, on the right.

Basically has the same meaning as “两“ but has the person radical on the left as an addition. It is used to omit the use of the measure word “个“.

The reason why “俩” (liǎ) is easy to remember is that its pinyin sounds similar to “liang” (which means two), and the character itself contains the character “两” (liǎng), which also means “two.” On the left side of “俩” (liǎ) is a radical that means “person,” so when you combine them, the meaning becomes “two people.”

the radical means person and the component is the character for 2. you can think of it like one person wants to go somewhere alone with the other person, making it a date for 2

It is very simple in that it combines 人 and 两 to form exactly what the character mean together – TWO PEOPLE.

here we have 亻radical (meaning person) and 两 (meaning two). Because 两 means two we can delete 2 last letters of “liang” and we finally have “lia” 🙂

Just remember instead of writing 个 after wards, you have to add something that looks like 个 to the front of ‘two’.

I remember 俩 because it comprises “人” to the left, and “两” on the right.
When you put them together, 人+两=俩, so people + two of them = a pair, which is the same as “两个”
